In a recent post, I talked about the rumor of the Disney Cruise Line returning to New York City. At the time I wrote this I thought it was an unlikely possibility, but it turned out to be real. In October 2027 the Disney Wish, after its return from spending the summer, will be based out of New York. It will do a mixture of Bermuda and Canada sailings before going to San Juan, Puerto Rico to do a winter of Bahamian cruises.
The New York sailings are proving to be very popular and most are either sold out or close to it. If you are interested, there are still many possibilities and people often book and then change their mind so staterooms are always opening up. There are lots of things to consider with sailing that time of the year including the colder weather in Canada as well as the possibility of changes to Bermuda itineraries. That’s why it’s so important to talk with your travel agent if you are considering it. If you don’t have a travel agent, contact me and I would love to work with you in figuring out if a NYC sailing is right for you and what your options look like.
